What does this app actually access
It reads five specific things: active security alerts, admin audit and login events, the user directory, and two categories of Gmail configuration settings. It cannot read the content of any email message.
Who can install this for a domain
Only a Google Workspace super admin can install it, and it is installed once for the entire domain rather than per user.
Does every user need to sign in separately
No. Once a super admin approves the install, no individual user is prompted for any additional permission.
Why do I see an unverified app warning during install
This app is currently in a testing phase while it completes Google review. Administrators listed as test users can continue past this screen safely. This is expected during the proof of concept stage.
Can access be removed later
Yes. A super admin can remove the app or revoke its access at any time from the Google Workspace Admin Console under Security settings.
Is any data ever written back to Workspace
No. Every request made by this app is read only. No setting, alert, or user record is ever modified.
